Presenter Biography: Samantha Kalkowski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and Psychology from Missouri Baptist University in 2003. In 2010, she earned a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University. She also holds a Professional License as a Speech-Language Pathologist and a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Her professional career as a Speech-Language Pathologist includes experience in Schools Districts, Early Intervention, Clinics, Private Practice, and TeleTherapy.
Samantha has provided Speech and Language Therapy services to children and adolescents with Sound-System Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Language Impairments, Fluency Disorders, Voice Disorders, Developmental Delays, Social Communication Disorders, Selective Mutism, Language Literacy Disorders, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Medically Fragile and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Her role at AbleNet is to share information regarding Assistive Technology and AAC with Speech-Language Pathologists and others to support children, adolescents, and adults.
ASHA CEU Requirements: Must complete the post webinar assessment with 80% accuracy. Unlimited attempts are allowed. Partial credit is not available.
