Funding Support

The funding process begins with a benefit check. A benefit check is a form you complete so that AbleNet can check if the QuickTalker Freestyle is a covered benefit by your client or student’s medical insurance. It is absolutely free and no obligation to you or your student or client.

A benefit check saves you time by letting you know if the device is covered by your client or student’s medical insurance before you spend the time showing it to the family, trialing it with the student or client, or writing the speech evaluation.

Once a benefit check is submitted:

  • AbleNet will reach out to the family for the insurance cards
  • AbleNet will contact the doctor for the DME order
  • AbleNet will handle all communication with the insurer

We just ask the SLP to write the speech evaluation, and we even have an easy-to-use template for that!
