The Funding Team is at the heart of the process for obtaining a QuickTalker Freestyle. Combining expertise and dedication, the funding team ensures families and SLPs can navigate the funding journey with confidence. From verifying insurance coverage and ensuring all insurance requirements are met, to navigating documentation and speech evaluations, our Funding Team ensures every detail is handled with care.
Everything begins with a benefit check—a simple form you complete that allows our team to verify medical insurance coverage. In many cases, we provide coverage details the same day the benefit check is submitted. Our team handles all the communication with the insurer to create a foundation for success, without requiring extra work from the SLP or the family.
Once coverage is confirmed, the Funding Team gets to work immediately, reaching out to families, coordinating with doctors for the DME (Durable Medical Equipment) order and managing all communication with insurers. Throughout the process, you may interact with several team members, each specializing in a specific aspect of the funding journey. This expertise allows us to streamline the process and keep everything moving forward as efficiently as possible.
After completing the benefit check, we provide the SLP with a customized, insurer-specific link tailored to insurance requirements. We work with thousands of insurers and have a deep understanding of their unique requirements, which is why 90% of SLPs that use our funding service turn to AbleNet’s online speech evaluation tool. This streamlines the process, saves the SLP valuable time, and ensures precision in meeting each insurer’s guidelines.
